What is the College Prospects Camp? July 23 – July 24, 2019 NESC
The 2019 Women’s Beantown Classic will be open to players at the ’01-’06 birth year. Note that ‘01s who are planning to PG or are uncommitted to a school will be accepted based on availability.
We will host a 2 day prospects mini-camp in between weekends of the Women’s Beantown Classic tournament at the New England Sports Center. Registration will be very limited and we will do our best to make sure that appropriate players are in attendance. The camp has sold out in each of the first four years. We highly recommend registering early to secure your spot. You will find all of the camp details listed below.
The camp is designed to give college prospect players an environment in which they can be on the ice and in the classroom working exclusively with assistant and head coaches of Division I and Division III collegiate programs on their skills and showcase themselves in games.
Over the last eight years the Women’s Beantown has grown into the premier showcase event in the United States. In 2017 and 2018 we had more than 200 teams participate with attendance from close to 180 scouts, including EVERY major Women’s NCAA Division I and Division III program.
Our 2 day prospects camp will be run exclusively by some of the top college coaches in today’s game giving players a great environment with which to further showcase their abilities. In addition to unprecedented exposure to collegiate coaches our players will hear from current NCAA Division I strength and conditioning coaches as well as nutrition specialists for tips on how train smarter and more effectively. This year we will expand the use of live video to provide on the spot feedback to players on their performance and techniques used in practices and skills sessions.
On behalf of Mike Anderson (Director of the Classic Camp) and the entire Women’s Beantown staff we’re excited to extend you and/your players an invitation to join us at camp this summer. Our goal is to help you improve your communication with coaches and to educate and teach you more about not only the game but the college process itself. This camp is a unique opportunity to train and compete against great players in the women’s game, gain additional exposure to top college coaches and learn about every important aspect of the recruiting process from the best programs in the country.
Below you’ll find a sample schedule of events as well as an online link to register and secure your spot.
